intense pulse light, like laser ...............only better!

Along came Intense Pulse Light. It works the same as laser, only it is safer and faster.

IPL, SIPL, SPL and VPL are all forms of Intense Pulse Light. The machines that deliver the

light have over time, been refined to give better RESULTS.

Ultra VPL is the latest advance in pioneering Variable Pulsed Light.

The technical term for the VPL process is selective photothermolysis or more simply,

selective heating via absorbtion of light. The applied light is absorbed by melanin, the pigment

that gives hair its colour and is also found in the skin cells as freckles, age spots or a tan.

This heat is transfered by the process to adjacent cells. Provided the light is of the correct

intensity and wavelength, the resultant temperature rise will be sufficient to cause surrounding

cells to die.
